I go to nature to be soothed and healed and to have my senses put in order
— John Burroughs
We are a family of overlanders, travelers, adventurers, and explorers. We are constantly hunting for adventure, wildlife, and the beauty of nature. We found solace in nature after enduring a tragedy and are working hard to rebuild our lives in order to allow us to do even more. Follow along to see how it goes and where we go next, and maybe get inspired for your own adventures!
Our Mission
Build the life we want and live life on our terms with no regrets. Live life now before it is too late. And if we can inspire others to do the same then even better.
Leave the road, take the trails
— Pythagoras
Why We Do What We Do
We lived a steady life until my wife and I endured a tragedy that we have been struggling to deal with since 2009. Since then we have lived all over the country, literally, from New England to Texas, Colorado, and California. During this time we were lucky enough to find nature, camping, and fell in love with the world of overlanding. Through this, we have spent extensive time exploring Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, California and points in between.
We currently live in Maine and have spent all of our free time exploring the Maine seashore and the great North Maine Woods. We have traveled thousands of miles across the state, have seen a large amount of wildlife, have seen truly amazing things, and can’t wait to see more. It is where we are finally able to find peace
So much so that we are currently working to travel full-time and are hoping to transition to living full time in an RV in order to be able to explore even more. We have seen so much, but there is still so much more to see. Through this process we have learned what is important to us and that it is vital to live every day to its fullest.
Will we make it? Or will we kill each other in the process. I don’t know, follow along and see for yourself!
